Easter Swap Received from Miaou

Yesterday I received my swap from Miaou.

It came wrapped in tissue paper and tied with a ribbon.

Upon opening I found .....A gorgeous little purple knitted bag that closes with a drawstring. It's been knitted in the round (I think it's called that!!) and has a spiralling pattern.

Inside was a little bag of chocolates - yum yum.

Bunny-Hop-Bunny-Swap

Through my friendship with Katye - GingerMonkey, I signed up for a Easter Bunny Swap organised by Lucy Locket.

I've been allocated my swap partner - Levineke who lives in Australia.

My thoughts are whirring but I do pity the poor girl as I've only made 1 softie before!!

Easter Swap

In the first MNCrafters Easter Swap I have been paired up with Miaou

I had thought of something then realised there has to be an Easter theme - thinking cap back on again!!

Wonder if I can get away with just Easter colours???

Fleece Patchwork Blanket Commission

A lady has asked me to make her a patchwork blanket for her DS from fleece. She also wants "taggies" around the edge.

I took my fingers in my hands (though not literally just figuratively - PHEW!!) and used my new Rotary cutter to cut out the squares and laying them out for her to see. Apart from having to replace 1 square she's really happy with how it will look.

Now I just need to sew 70 squares together, add 34 ribbon tags, add a backing and "quilt"!!

I haven't quite decided if I'm cheeky enough to make this my (unfinished) entry in the MNCrafters Blue Challenge
